Your donations transform lives

All around the world, brilliant work is already being done to help stop superbugs, by educating communities and providing access to clean water and soap. Yet too many of these projects are underfunded, without the basic resources they need to carry out their work. But you can change that. Even a small donation can make a BIG difference...

What will your donation achieve?

£10 could help provide handwashing facilities for a family in Kenya

£20 could provide educational materials for a project in Uganda

How your donation supports us

Giving a monthly donation helps us provide stable support for our projects, enabling them to plan for the future. Even £5 a month can make a huge difference to people working in some of the most challenging regions in the world.

Not ready to make a regular commitment? A one-off donation can be life changing for our community-led projects in sub-Sharan Africa.

How your donation supports us

Every penny you donate to Stop Superbugs helps support our international projects, as well as helping cover the cost of coordinating the initiative – with the ultimate aim of providing more practical support to community-focused projects across the world and helping to reduce deaths from drug resistant infections.

Stop Superbugs is a global health initiative of the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, one of the world’s largest networks of infection specialists and registered charity.

At the moment, our focus is helping provide local solutions for community projects, which means the best way you can help is by raising funds to support them, starting a project in your own community, and signing up for our Changemaker course, so you can help spread the word about superbugs!

However, if you are interested in volunteering, our friends at Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) are always on the look out for volunteers. Check out the latest opportunities here.
